Oasis Neighbourhood: Assisted Living
Symphony’s trademarked assisted living product is called "Oasis". Unlike most operators who will have an “assisted living floor or unit"; one that usually becomes stigmatized as the place you go when you "get sick" and often termed by its location "the 4rd floor/unit". Oasis is a choice of one of several Neighbourhoods offered in a Symphony property. A Neighbourhood that is equally well appointed and tastefully residential, when compared to the Independent Neighbourhood.
Oasis was chosen as it was a calm and peaceful place that you can live your life and leave your worries. Whether you need personal or medical assistance or you just don’t want to live alone anymore and want the security and cosiness that Oasis offers. Programming for residents in Oasis is specific to their needs and wants. We provide a robust activity and social calendar, including outings and events. The Neighbourhood is smaller, tub rooms are available, and dining rooms are smaller and less congested.
We associate our Oasis Neighbourhood to living in a large family home and getting some extra help.
